Volunteer today at the Republican Victory Center in Elkhart!

Rebecca Kubacki, Richard Mourdock, Mike Pence, Jackie Walorski, Tim Neese, Tim Wesco

The Elkhart Republican Victory Center made the THIRD most phone calls last week of any political phone bank the nation. Only two political phone banks, both located in Chicago, made more calls. Many of those calls turned out to be incomplete calls registered to dead people.

The Elkhart Republican Victory Center volunteers are hard workers. Look at all the calls they made.

Joan Brice

Congratulations to top caller, extraordinaire, Joan Bice who has made 4,207 calls so far. Joan is a worker. She wasn’t FINISHED calling when I left

Please consider devoting at least an hour or so a week to being part of this WINNING TEAM. The Victory Center is air conditioned. There are snacks and drinks. There is pizza for dinner. And best of all–the people you will meet are fun and like-minded.

The phones are simple to use. And it is fun.

2012 Election, Government, Governor, Hoosier, Indiana, Mike, Mike Pence, Republican, United States

from Bob Moore

Friends,

This afternoon, Mike Pence called for an office of federalism
in the governor’s office, tasked with saying no to federal
dollars and mandates that place more burdens on our economy than
they bring in benefits. Mike spoke about the need for Indiana to
push back on the fast-growing tide of federal regulations and
programs that hinder Hoosier businesses and cost Hoosier
taxpayers more money.

See video of Mike’s announcement:

American Media: Weapons of Mass Disinformation

In the old Soviet Union, the government controlled the media. Not a word of substance could be published without prior approval from the Bolshevik commissars.

Today in the United States, the situation is starkly similar. BUT, MOST AMERICANS DON’T KNOW IT.

In fact, most Americans know VERY LITTLE about what is going on in the world. The Time Magazine issue pictured below illustrates why. The Time magazine’s (issue 178, no.22) lead story for people living abroad was called “Revolution Redux” and featured a cover with a dramatic picture of an Arab rebel wearing a gas mask. In America, we got “Why anxiety is good for you”.

The Business Insider article LINKED HERE shows issue after issue of Time magazine “watering down”news meant for American readers.

Do you believe the mainstream media tells you the truth without bias? And that they tell you EVERYTHING?

In America today, a select handful of super-rich families and tightly-knit financial interests–a plutocratic elite–owns “mainstream media” and controls the government through their ownership of it…every single one of the major media outlets is controlled by this powerful interlocking combination.

Behind the scenes these shadowy owners and corporate power brokers dictate what you will (or will not) see in your daily newspaper or on the daily news.

– The shadowy media controllers decide which politicians are “in” and which politicians are “out”. (They made Bill Clinton overnight. They also broke Richard Nixon overnight.)

– The ‘controllers’ decide which issues can–or can not–be debated. (Imagine a public debate over the Federal Reserve system on Nightline. It will never happen!)

-The ‘controllers’ also decide which are “good wars” and which are “bad wars.”

In contrast to the standard conception of the media as cantankerous, obstinate, and ubiquitous in their “search for truth” and their “independence of authority”, the reality is that modern “journalists” serve a “societal purpose,” but NOT ONE of providing the public with the information needed for the intelligent discharge of political and social responsibilities. On the contrary, despite the unprecedented access 21st-century people could have to news about real events, political parties, corporations, and nations at war FLOOD THE AIRWAVES with spin, selective reporting, and even disinformation.

That disinformation not only threatens our insight into the workings of our world; it makes us vulnerable to fear, misunderstanding, and doubt: all things that lead to destruction. Good people have been indoctrinated  into committing terrible atrocities against others, or even against themselves.

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

Will telling the “truth” solve all a nation’s problems? Of course not. But, it is a beginning. Knowing the “correct facts” should be least we require before making any decision of consequence. If our media is ignorant, reckless and corrupt, that is because we tolerate their ignorance, recklessness and corruption.

Without a concerted and organized effort to diffuse mass-produced lies, the future can be bleak indeed. History has shown us time and again that a nation of fools (how could they be otherwise without factual information) is doomed.

Indiana Republican candidates and volunteers will use the space at 1630 South Nappanee for phoning voters and to coordinate door-to-door efforts.

There are ONLY 106 days until the National Election. Won’t you PLEASE lend a hand during this critically important time? The most important thing you can to help our GOP candidates is to join us at the GOP Victory Center (1630 South Nappanee Street, Elkhart, IN) to interact with potential voters on the phone to gather information and to help GET PEOPLE OUT TO VOTE.The great news is our GOP campaign’s state-of-the-art telephones makes calling incredibly easy. But it takes folks like you who will devote even just a couple of hours of your free time to FIGHT for core constitutional values and the future of America. I worked at the Victory Center today for just a little over an hour and made 56 calls. It was fun. I’m planning to spend every free moment I can find to work at the Victory Center.

The center is air conditioned. There are drinks and snacks. It’s an opportunity to interact with other GOP supporters and to make new friends. This is probably the most important election of our lifetime. The cause is SO IMPORTANT. Please don’t expect someone else to carry the load.

For our GOP candidates to WIN, these calls MUST be made. Join your friends and neighbors at the North GOP Victory Center and start making calls right away.

For Indiana & America’s future–HattieBelle

Americans for Prosperity – Indiana (AFP-IN) is launching a statewide effort to put grassroots pressure on Joe Donnelly. Donnelly’s votes for increased government spending and higher taxes will be the focus of the effort. The grassroots project is channeled through the website www.HowsThatCupofJoe.com. The website educates Hoosiers on the failed economic policies supported by Congressman Donnelly, and a petition so Hoosiers can contact Donnelly directly.

In addition, AFP-Indiana’s field coordinators will be organizing AFP-Indiana’s 25,000 grassroots activists to make phone calls and knock on doors in order to share this information with their fellow Hoosiers and get them to contact Donnelly in the weeks and months ahead.

“Joe Donnelly’s votes for government-run health care, increased spending and higher taxes is something that every Hoosier should be aware of,” stated Chase Downham, Indiana State Director of Americans for Prosperity.

“We are going to work hand-in-hand with grassroots activists across our state to put pressure on Joe Donnelly, and remind him that Hoosiers oppose the runaway spending and increased debt that is all too common in Washington, D.C.”

Joe Donnelly voted for the $2 trillion government takeover of health care, $1 trillion failed stimulus efforts and voted against a permanent repeal of the death tax at the federal level.

Americans for Prosperity (AFP) is a nationwide organization of citizen-leaders committed to advancing every individual’s right to economic freedom and opportunity. AFP believes reducing the size and intrusiveness of government is the best way to promote individual productivity and prosperity for all Americans. Americans for Prosperity does not support or oppose candidates for public office. For more information, visit www.americansforprosperity.org
